The mixture and physical asset do not stand alone. The operating method, reserve philosophy, transfer plan and acceptance procedure determine whether the full route works.

Commercial diving / Heliox & Trimix

Prepare the gas against the approved dive plan.

Commercial diving may call for pure gases or project-specific helium mixtures. Composition, tolerance, filling pressure, identification and analysis are confirmed from the approved specification rather than from a default online blend.

Saturation diving support

Treat reserve and replenishment as part of the system.

Saturation support typically raises the importance of stored volume, mixture control, gas analysis, identification and continuous project logistics. The gas route is evaluated with the diving contractor and the approved operating documentation.

IMCA guidance covers supplier facilities, filling, mixing, analysis, composition controls, cylinder and quad identification, port-call transfer, receipt and acceptance. The project should assign each responsibility rather than rely on one certificate alone.

01Is there a default Heliox or Trimix composition?

No. The mixture and composition tolerance must be defined and approved for the specific diving operation, then mixed and analysed against that specification.

02Which supply formats can be reviewed?

Individual cylinders, manifolded supply and offshore quad configurations can be reviewed after the mixture, pressure, consumption and handling plan are defined.

03What documentation should be agreed?

Define gas analysis, batch or fill identification, cylinder or quad identity, inspection records, delivery records and acceptance responsibilities.

04Are the 16- and 64-cylinder examples Lesoo specifications?

No. They are public supplier examples. Final dimensions, weight, manifold, lifting set and certification are confirmed from the selected asset.
